Tyler's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday Tyler!!!!!
Although he turns 1 today we decided to celebrate a day early. With school, work schedules, and vacation, we thought it might be better. We had a fun day with him and family. Both sets of Grandparents came, 2 of his Aunts, an 2 Uncles and cousins it was full but fun house. We missed the family that couldn't make it. I can't believe my little man is already 1. It dosen't seem like just a year ago we were hoping we would get up and find out the good news that they would let me come in early the have this little guy. He feels our house with love a laughter. I love to go and get him every morning and see his smiling face in the crib waiting for me to pick him up. His brother loves go in with me to get him. He loved all of the attention. There are pictures below of some of the fun we had. I even caught him in his birthday suit (but I will save that picture for blackmail sometime.) after his much needed bath.

Whittier Happening over the last Month

We have had fun and busy month. We have kept ourselves busy but have had a lot of fun doing it. The boys have had fun getting into trouble. I have loved every minute of it. Hyrum is excited for Halloween and can't wait to wear his costume. We have more things planned for the coming months. Including which I can't believe is just over a month is Tyler's 1st birthday I can't believe that it had almost been a year and my baby will no longer be a baby. I hate that my boys are growing up, but then it is fun to see them explore new things. I hope you enjoy the pictures of the things that have happened over the last month.

Nick decided it would be funny to dress Hyrum up, Hyrum really didn't want his pictures taken although it was a funny picture.

My boys love to play together, they will still fight over some things but one of their favorite things to do it is chase each other around. They love to take turns and run or crawl around the house. When Tyler starts walking Hyrum is in big trouble.

Hyrum got a new train set from a family in the ward and the kids that I babysit. He loves to play with it. He loves to see what new ways we can put it together.

These 2 pictures are of the boys at the corn maze when we went to kick off the month of October. They both had a lot of fun hanging out and running through the corn maze.

Tyler had fun watch Daddy and Hyrum sword fight (below). He thought it was weird and interesting all at the same time. Honestly I think he was trying to figure out how he was going to join in with them.

Then my boys being burritos, this was our fun one night for about an hour or so before bed time. Hyrum could not get enough of it. He still wanted to do it days later.

Then for a fun activity with the kids I babysit we decided to steal an idea from my sister and build a volcano and make Halloween crafts. They all had a fun time with it even if the volcano took us forever to get to work. They loved the end result.

Things that happened in July and August

In no particular order

We celebrated Nick's birthday on August 31st. We went to the state Penitentiary and look around. Nick and Hyrum had a blast looking in the cells and different rooms. Hyrum had to look at everything even if it was the same as the one he just looked at. Then later we had dinner with my family. Then later dinner with with Nick's family. We always seem to stretch his birthday out over a weeks time. I love to spoil him and have fun with his birthday.

At the first of July me and the boys went to Idaho Falls with my parents to go and spend some time with my sister and her kids. It was a lot of fun. We went and got cupcakes and hats to celebrate my Nephew Davis' birthday. Hyrum and Hannah had a blast with that. Then My grandparents came down and we went to the zoo with them.

The zoo with great grandpa. They loved it cause grandpa had food for them to feed the animals.

When we got back from Idaho Falls, Nick has surprised Hyrum with a swing set. He loves to go out and swing on it all the time. We now just need to get a slide and he will be in complete Heaven.

Later that weekend we decided to go to the Kuna Days parade. We realized it was Hyrum and Tyler's first parade. I don't think Tyler will remember it much, but it was still fun to watch the two of them.

Then one day while Hyrum and I were playing I realized I am never going to be tan. Even my son who I thought might be white like his mama. proved me wrong and I realized he beat me. I don't know who carries the jean. It is probably me who carries it, but doesn't benefit from it.

Then the last two photos are just fun things we captured of the boys. Tyler will always sit at the back door if someone goes out and will just sit there and watch them longing to be out there with them. Then Hyrum below wanted to try on Daddy's new CERT vest that he got. He loves trying on Daddy's uniform gear.


Sorry so scattered and all over the place. We have had a fun and busy last couple of months. I am not really sure where the time has gone. I hope it slows down a little, but then we have had fun.

June Finished
I finally finished the month of June. It took me awhile and I decided to do them in different posts. We had a very busy but fun month. I love to hang out with all 3 of my boys. I love being the only girl in the house sometimes. Sometimes I do wish I had a girl around sometimes. But for now I wouldn't trade my boys for any girls. I don't know what I would do with girls any way. Enjoy the 4 new posts I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

The Love of Two brother's

I love to watch the boys play together. Even when they have the mean days, I can always look back at these pictures and know they really love each other. Tyler loves to be with his brother. When he gets the crawling down (which he is really close to) Hyrum is going to have a little shadow following him where ever he goes. Tyler tries so hard already to be doing what ever his brother is doing. Hyrum I think hates it but also loves it.

Boise Zoo

We decided to take the kids to the Boise Zoo when my sister Julia came into town. So we picked up my other sister Amie's kids and headed for the zoo. It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it. I want to take Hyrum back again. This time on one of Nick's days off. We will have to see if it happens.

Tyler's first time to the zoo, he didn't see much cause he slept for part of it. But I think he loves seeing the occasional cousin poke their head into his stroller to say hi.

Hyrum loved it this time and understood what an animal really was. I couldn't get him to slow down. He loved every minute of it and he really enjoyed seeing all the different animals.

Kids just love the truck. This was after the Lion tried to get them through the window.

That wasn't the only animal that tried to attack my son. This crane actually succeeded and pecked Hyrum in the head through the gate. It was a little scary I have to say, I think Hyrum was a little more scared then I was.

He asks to see the Zebra picture almost daily.

This was one of the many butterflies they have in the butterfly area at the zoo until August. I want to go back. There were so many cool ones.

Our Pack Family Reunion

We went down to Utah the end of June to go to our family reunion for my mom's side. We left the morning of because Nick had to work. So we got up really early to make it in time. It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be but still don't know if I would like to do that one again. We started off with a lunch with everyone and then after we were done eating we took the kids swimming. Hyrum had a ton of fun, I had a hard time getting him to leave.

Then on Sunday we got up and went to Temple square as a group until some of us had to go on our way home. It was a lot of fun to go back to the place where we all got started (where my parents got married). We got a picture of the whole gang but I don't have that copy so I will have to post that some other time.

I love this picture the of the kids how they are looking up and later found out how they were talking about the marks on his hands and feet. You really have to love these little moments.
