February 2012

We started February off by celebrating Valentines with the boys, and my nieces. Nick and I usually don't celebrate on Valentines since we have had the boys. We celebrate our Anniversary 2 days later. So Valentines are more for the boys. Hyrum saw these super hero valentines and told me "Mom we have to do those" So I got to work and tried to find a way to make them. They actually turn out to be pretty easy. He loved them and want to carry them around and "eat" them.

A close up of one of them. We had Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and the Flash.

When the boys woke up that morning we had their shirts, breakfast, and gifts on the table. Hyrum thought it was the coolest thing ever. Tyler thought the food was cool, but wasn't sure about the rest.

Here is a picture of 2 of my Valentines. Tyler shirt says "This guy is a Ladies Man" Hyrum's says "Chicks Loves Super Heros" I love my boys!!!!

We finally got a slide for our swing set. Hyrum again had to help Dad put it on and make sure he was doing the right thing. He also doesn't think I took this picture. He didn't want his picture taken while going down.

We also celebrated my birthday at the end of the month. Here are the boys playing while Daddy made me Breakfast.
That night I went to dinner with my mom and my boys. Followed by pies from Marie Calendars.
Then the Sunday after my family came over and we had dinner and cupcakes. It was a fun couple of days for my birthday.

To end the night Hyrum got to hold his cousin Madison. He loves to hold her, and asks Aunt Amie all the time.
January 2012

Are January was busy as normal, some weeks were calm while others were busy. It was fun not matter what we did. Hyrum loves to help his daddy. Once of the things we did was change the kitchen faucet. The handle has been broken, so thanks to a much needed gift card we went and bought a faucet. Tyler and I went on a date to the grocery store while Hyrum and Daddy stayed to put it in. He had to were his tool belt and every thing. Everything Dad did he had to do it too. He thought it was the coolest thing to get under the sink and fixed things. Here is a picture of him in is tool belt, just like dad's.

I don't know how many days I will be picking things up or doing my own thing and walk around the corner and see the boys right next to dad, working on "their homework". They love to do the same thing he is doing. They think it is the funniest thing.

We had are first snow storm in January and Hyrum loved it. He wanted to be out there the whole day. If he had any free time he was asking to get his stuff on to go play.

Tyler wanted to go out also and thought it was unfair that he couldn't go out with Dad and big brother. So when they were done doing what they were doing, Daddy took him out and he loved it. When Dad brought him back in was a different story. He cried for a good 10 min wanting to go back out in the snow. He thought it was the coolest thing.

Hyrum wanted a Cars 2 birthday, and also wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese. So we did both. What other for a great 3 year old. He loved going and celebrating with family and friend.

His favorite gift of the night. He got a Cars 2 tent from his friend J. He loves it so much, he will still ask to sleep in it every now and then. He lived in that tent for the first few weeks.

He loved playing the games and getting the tickets from the games. He asks to go back at least once a week.
We saved some of his gifts for his actual birthday. We let him open them up before church. He loves star wars, thanks to our great friends Ty and Jack. He loved his star wars card. It had a spinning Yoda and he thought that was the coolest.

He also got a Light Saber. He thought it was really cool that it lit up and made the sounds. I think he had another successful birthday.

DECEMBER 2011
We had a fun filled December. We took a much needed family vacation. We decided to go to Idaho Falls and visit my sister and friends. It was fun week and we hated to go. The boys loved playing with the cousins their age and just loved there time together. The boys got to see Santa twice. Tyler wasn't to sure about it either time, but it was fun to watch Hyrum and see him get excited for it. Tyler was ok as long as mom or dad were near by.

Then just before we left for trip home we decided to have to kids play at an indoor play area. Hannah and Hyrum were all over the place, but had fun dressing up and going from slide, to ball pit. We then we to lunch and headed home. All kids passed out in the cars after we said our goodbyes. Tyler even took his first steps this week. It was exciting.

Then of course we celebrated Christmas at the end of the month. It was fun watching Hyrum get so excited this year with the whole Santa and him coming to our house. He loved looking at all the lights we went to throughout the weeks around Christmas. We started off Christmas Eve morning celebrating with Nick's parents. The boys had fun seeing Grandpa and Grandma and Uncle Will. We then had a Christmas lunch before they had to go. We then went to a Christmas Eve movie "Puss In Boots" which was Tyler's first movie. He didn't do so well, but better then we thought he would. Hyrum of course loved it. Then after the movie we got ready to go to my parents house for Christmas Eve dinner and the Christmas story. Followed by the kids opening their Christmas Eve gifts, with some desert and then home to get ready for Santa to come.

Christmas Morning we went to church for an hour and then came home to open presents. The boys love their gifts and had a good time with family. It was fun watching them get excited to get up and see what fun things they got.

We ended the Christmas season with going to dinner at Nick's Aunts house for Lunch. It was a good way to end the Day.
The Next Morning and I mean Morning. At 2 in the morning we started the 26th out with a bang. We ended up taking Hyrum in the ER because he couldn't breath, we found out he had croup. not a fun time for the little guy. But was glad my parents and Nick were there to help.

Tyler's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday Tyler!!!!!
Although he turns 1 today we decided to celebrate a day early. With school, work schedules, and vacation, we thought it might be better. We had a fun day with him and family. Both sets of Grandparents came, 2 of his Aunts, an 2 Uncles and cousins it was full but fun house. We missed the family that couldn't make it. I can't believe my little man is already 1. It dosen't seem like just a year ago we were hoping we would get up and find out the good news that they would let me come in early the have this little guy. He feels our house with love a laughter. I love to go and get him every morning and see his smiling face in the crib waiting for me to pick him up. His brother loves go in with me to get him. He loved all of the attention. There are pictures below of some of the fun we had. I even caught him in his birthday suit (but I will save that picture for blackmail sometime.) after his much needed bath.

Tyler enjoy the birthday song and the cupcake.

Can you guess the theme of the party. I thought everything turned out so well.

Can you tell what is wrong with this picture? I don't know how I didn't notice it when I put it up, ( i will use the excuse I had to kids a my feet screaming)

The table with all the fun decorations!!!

I thought his was a fun idea.

The rest of the pictures are of him opening his presents and his brother wanting everything that his was opening. All in all it w
